My students Shawn and Maria performing their wedding choreography. June 2014
The first wedding dance is among the first steps a couple embarks together in their newfound journey. Symbolic and poignant in every step, a couple shouldn't view it as part of a "Wedding To-Do List", but as a fun activity where they can become closer on another level - dancing level. The first dance should be about having fun, shining on a dance floor, being confident with each step taken and truly enjoying the dance. Uncovering and discovering each other on a dance floor through new movements can strengthen communication overall. Dancing is silent, yet powerful language and a couple shouldn't be afraid that they "can't dance", but embrace a new activity, trust and believe in each other. For a wedding dance, I also teach salsa, waltz, rumba and foxtrot. Togetherwe can choose the theme, music, moves and create exciting choreography tailored to your levels and wishes.
